Add new fields - WordPress Download Manager

Hello,
I’d like to have more fields which I think could be useful when speaking about software download:

– Author
– Operating System: Windows XP, … Linux.
– License: Freeware, Shareware, …

I tried to do it with post metas, but it’s a real pain to have them added into page/link templates
Any workaround appreciated if you don’t plan to add this.

Nevermind, I purchased the Extended fields addo-on, we can close the ticket.

But you are not able to edit these fields in the frontend, only in the backend.
