Hi, I’m using WP Download Manager to manage hundreds, almost a thousand downloads and have multiple users helping add and maintain the downloads. It would save us a ton of time and reduce the amount of checking we have to do if we could set certain default values for the Package Settings of a New Package.

The most helpful fields to be able to set default values in the settings section which would be defaulted to when you add a new package are:
–Allow Access
–Link Template
–Page Template

Finally, we attach a license file to every download. It would be awesome if there was a way to specify a file or files that are automatically attached when you create a new package… they could just show up in the list already. Again, specified in the settings section. If this was set and you didn’t want it, you could delete just like you can any other file in a package.

Thanks for considering,

Any possibility of getting this implemented?

Actually you will never need that feature, as wpdm pro already has clone option. You can create a package with default settings, then every time you need to create another package, you can clone previous one or the default one.
