Ability to Assign Multiple Owners for a Package

Please consider (or let me know how) to allow multiple users to maintain a single package. Currently I understand the security function that allows just the author to maintain their package – but there really should be an option to disable this and allow assignment of multiple users for package maintenance. At a minimum, we need to be allowed to reassign by changing the owner of any package (currently if you click the “owner” drop-down, that list has only one value – the current owner.
