Bump… I’m struggling here… Thanks!
Ok, I was changing the access level for a category and now WPDM is giving me fatal errors.
I can see the files and all seems fine from the Dashboard side… but get a fatal error when attempting to download.
Help!
Thanks so much!
Attempted to download a file- got this:
http://www.csroa.org/download/20/
CATCHABLE FATAL ERROR: OBJECT OF CLASS WP_ERROR COULD NOT BE CONVERTED TO STRING IN /HERMES/BOSWEB/WEB283/B2830/IPW.CSROAORG/PUBLIC_HTML/WP-CONTENT/THEMES/ACADEMICA/FUNCTIONS/WPZOOM-FUNCTIONS.PHP ON LINE 328
I don’t have any wpdm add-ons and I have the same problem.
I followed the steps outlined to upgrade from 3.3.5 to 3.3.8 and now I get the following when I launch my site at gotdedupe.com
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wpdm_cat_has_child() (previously declared in /home/gotdedup/public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/wpdm.php:606) in /home/gotdedup/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpdm-archive-page/wpdm-archive-page.php on line 158
I’ve downloaded the new versions, and the default template now uses a different size image, with the feature image above the link and description. Previously, it was using the icon sized images, and even though that’s still the template we have selected, it’s not displaying that, and we had to downgrade the add-on version back to 1.6.0 again.
But downgrading the add-on caused a fatal error for the website, so I had to downgrade back to v3.3.5 of the main plugin too. Is there a way to fix this at all? I’d love to be able to play with and fix this myself, but the license won’t let me install it on a test site to see if I can make the changes we want without messing up our production site.
We’ve also always had to use our own preview images, since the default icons provided never seemed to work. Could that be part of the problem as well?
looks like you are trying to auto upgrade from wp.org , you need to download wpdm pro from your your page here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/my-orders/
had the same problem
should desactive all the DM plugins then update to 3.3.8 and in a second time re activate all the others plugins
for myself, i had to restore my web site from the begining ^^
sorry, my english is not very good xD
yes, sorry that, I missed to mention it .
you have to write it on your upgrade guide… 😉
before deactivating wpdm pro, please deactivate all of its add-ons to skip such issue.
arf i’ve tried anything but nothing happens
i also try to upload the back up of my provider
nothing works
so i start agin from the begining (my website was 2 wekks old) but i think that the customer client should answer faster then they do…
thanks anyway for your help ^^
very kind of you

THE SAME PROBLEMS !!
Hello
I’ve just followed these steps
download 3.3.8 and upload via ftp to wp-content/plugins
then trying to desactivate and reactivate download manager
i can’t even desactivate or using my website
error message :
Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_wdm_settings_tab() in /homepages/25/d477390446/htdocs/Wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wpdm-amazon-s3/wpdm-amazon-s3.php on line 2339
please help me, it’s urgent
to remove bootstrap from wpdm pro. open functions.php, find and remove following line:
wp_enqueue_style('wpdm-bootstrap',plugins_url().'/download-manager/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.css');
wp_enqueue_style('wpdm-bootstrap-responsive',plugins_url().'/download-manager/bootstrap/css/bootstrap-responsive.css');
For the fatal error you need to contact woocommerce developer
please ask your server/hosting support to check zlib. Though your php info showing zlib activated, the fatal error proved that zlib is not working properly in your server. But there is nothing to change with wpdm pro.
fixed the fatal error bit, it had something to do with the wordpress page template.
Hi Shaon,
thanks for your reply
package link: http://intranet.fuerstenberg-institut.de/download/brief-vorlagen/
Error message: Fatal error: Class ‘ZipArchive’ not found in /home/httpd/docs/intranet.fuerstenberg-institut.de/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/process.php on line 45
phpinfo showing that zlib is installed: http://intranet.fuerstenberg-institut.de/info.php
Great plugin.
Uploaded the premium pack and got this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_wdm_settings_tab() in /home4/…/public_html/…/wp-content/plugins/wpdm-custom-access-level/wpdm-custom-access-level.php on line 463
Turned off all my plugins but still fails to install. I have S2 member installed in case it conflicts.
First off, thanks for implementing. But it’s throwing an error when trying to activate:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wpdm_tpled_packages() in /my-private-server-path/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/modules/widgets.php on line 269
Can you fix?
