While trying to upgrade from version 4.5.5 to 4.6.0, we found an incompatibility with other plugins using Google’s API. The problem we were seeing is a white screen shutdown of the site with the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare google_api_php_client_autoload() (previously declared in /home/xxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/vendor/google/apiclient/src/Google/autoload.php:18) in /home/xxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager-4.6.0/libs/socialconnect/Google/autoload.php on line 33While trying to find a solution, we ran into several messages with similar problems, and the solution was using a properly namespaced function name instead of the default (google_api_php_client_autoload). This would make it completely compatible with other plugins using the same API, even if they don’t user a proper function name. I have temporarily edited the file to give the function a proper name that won’t cause errors, and have notified the other plugin vendor about this same issue.
Topic: fatal error
Not sure how a forum will help but….. the free version installs just fine and activates. The paid version generates a fatal error.
Have purchased WP-Downloadmanager and two Add-Ons to solve my problems with downloads. Now my problems are bigger.
1) Can not activate the license because of an error message ‘Invalid License Key’
2) Amazon S3 plugin creates massive error messages (The aws S3 keys are correct. I use them in another software and they work)
3) PDF Stamper writes the messages into the text and I cannot adjust the exact position, even if I type the mm into the fieldError messages for Amazon S3

Hey,
i normaly uploaded the Plugin. But everytime i activate the Plugin, this error is shown:
what can i do?

I’ve tried to update to this long awaited fix version 4.6.0 and having deactivated and deleted the v4.5.6 plugin, the v4.6.0 will now not activate!!!
