    I was about to renew my subscription, but when I tried to activate the current version I have, I got this error that it conflicts with another plugin.

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare dd() (previously declared in /home/wp_yg7k3m/gideon.store/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-ips-pro/dropbox/vendor/tightenco/collect/src/Illuminate/Support/helpers.php:109) in /home/wp_yg7k3m/gideon.store/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/wpdm-functions.php on line 1790

    The Woocommerce pdf plugin developer said this:

    I’m afraid this is not something I can easily change from our end. The dd() function in the PDF invoice Pro extension is part of a third party library, and the library actually already checks if the function is not loaded by any other process:

    if (! function_exists(‘dd’)) {

    The problem is that the download manager is registering the function after ours is already loaded, so that check doesn’t find any others with the same name yet.

    There are two possible solutions here you can ask the WP Download Manager developers:

    -Add a check as with ours that verifies there is no such function name yet
    -namespace the functions or use a less generic name

    Are either of the above solutions options or should I look for a new download plugin?

    I’m not sure if this is related by when I go to the update page and click on the “check for updates” button I get the following error message:

    Has the shortcode changed between the previous and current versions? It appears during the update that “purchases” and “guest orders” pages were created with the following shortcode:

    [wpdmpp-guest-orders] (versus [wpdm-pp-guest-orders])
    [wpdmpp_purchases] versus [wpdm-pp-purchases])

    The new pages allow you to retrieve and associate an order, however it throws the following error when you try to download:

    Fatal error: Class ‘Order’ not found in /home/scottkolbe/public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/libs/class.Stats.php on line 16

    Hope this helps.

    Updated to Pro and fixed the Fatal Error.

    “Attach” links on S3 Manager still don’t do anything.

    Also, now when I click the link I get this error:

    This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

    my problem with PDF Stamper v1.9 in combination with Download Manager v 2.9.69 that causes this error when trying to download a stamepd file:

    Fatal error: Class ‘WPDM_Stats’ not found in /var/www/web28672525/html/www.felusch.de/wp-content/plugins/wpdm-pdf-stamper/wpdm-pdf-stampers.php on line 112

    Workaround:

    download the php file: wpdm-pdf-stampers.php
    from the directory: wp-content/plugins/wpdm-pdf-stamper

    and change the code in line 112 from: $log = new WPDM_Stats();
    to: $log = new \WPDM\libs\DownloadStats();

    save and replace the .php file on your server

    good luck and I am not responsible for any trouble 🙂
    …just want to share the solution with you!

    Thank you for your fast reply,

    and no, I don’t really wanna hardcode the allow access roles, I just want to add “editor” and “administrator” to the allow access roles for a file in PHP runtime, when “subscriber” is allowed to download that file. The reason is that from the hierarchical point of view, editors and administrators are allowed to do all things, a subscriber is allowed to do and we don’t wanna add all three roles (“subscriber”, “editor” and “administrator”) for each of our files.

    Besides there is the apply_filter(‘wpdm_allowed_roles’, $id, $roles) command in WPDM\Pakage::AllowedRoles($id), line 306, which would be a really great solution for adding allowed access roles, based on the existing allowed access roles and perhaps other conditions 😉 But adding a “wpdm_allowed_roles” filter, using the WordPress built-in add_filter() function regretfully ends in a fatal error. 🙁

    Thanks and best regards
    Michael

    Hello,

    with allowing file access for subscribers, we also want editors and administrators to be allowed to access that file, without adding both user roles to the “Allow access” field, too.

    So we would like to modify the allowed roles array programmatically for the WPDM\libs\Apply::triggerDownload() function, but when we are trying to add a WP filter for the filter tag “wpdm_allowed_roles” (which gets applied in WPDM\Pakage::AllowedRoles($id), line 306), a fatal error occurs: “Fatal error: Maximum function nesting level of ‘100’ reached, aborting!”.

    Example in functions.php:
    add_filter(‘wpdm_allowed_roles’, ‘modifiyAllowedRoles’, 999, 2);
    function modifyAllowedRoles($roles, $id) {
    return $roles;
    }

    Is there another possibility to modify the allowed roles array programmatically for a triggered download?

    Best regards
    Michael
