I’ve tried to update to this long awaited fix version 4.6.0 and having deactivated and deleted the v4.5.6 plugin, the v4.6.0 will now not activate!!!
Getting this error:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘, expecting ‘)’ in /home/*******/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/libs/socialconnect/facebookconnect.php on line 14
I have now lost ALL my downloading capabilities on my website – are you guys for real!?!
Please give me a fix ASAP.
Hello,
I have the following message when I want to activate the plugin (pro version)
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /srv/hosting/clients/h1790/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php on line 12
Is there anything I can do ?
Thank you
I have a multisite installation and wish to use the plugin NS CLONER to clone sites.
There is a conflict with your plugin that I cannot understand how to resolve.
If I de-activate the NS Cloner plugin, everything works fine (both installing your plugin works and using the installed plugin works)
If I activate NS CLONE however, I cannot install your plugin.
And if I de-activate NS CLONER so that I can install your plugin and then, later, once your plugin is working, re-activate NS CLONER, the Download Manager plugin throws errors. E.g., this error happens when I clicked the USERS option in my dashboard for the sub-site:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare dd() (previously declared in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/www.nexuscommunity.co.za/wp-content/plugins/ns-cloner-site-copier/lib/kint/Kint.class.php:562) in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/www.nexuscommunity.co.za/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/wpdm-functions.php on line 1772
I will send site details in a separate message.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home5/jplfound/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php on line 12
No matter whether I download the Pro version, free version, or whether I try to install via file or via WP Plugins site.
Please advise! Thanks.
This is a fresh wordpress install and I am getting this error. Please Help
Hello
I followed instructions to update to the latest version of Download Manager but got the following when activating in the plugin page:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wpdm_common_actions() in /home/reportau/public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php on line 95
I can see that all the files uploaded OK.
Thanks
Hi team,
I’m supposed to launch http://rebeccak.co.nz in 24hs and while using Download Manager Pro should be a breeze it has proven to be a challenge. I must have a plugin (in this case Press Permit Core) to block “submit property” and “my property list” pages/menus that can be seen under the User Account menu by a logged subscriber. We cannot have users submitting properties to the system.
The plugin works fine, except that now I have a mega conflict with Download Manager Pro which I need to be resolved. With DMP plugin activated, when I try to ad/edit a page or package I get different errors.
At the moment there’s no Visual Builder, no text editor, screen options popdown is locked and etc…Screenshot here http://awesomescreenshot.com/01c5ws4k54
Earlier today I had error messages like; Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘PP_Ancestry’ not found in /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/press-permit-core/hardway/hardway_pp.php:375 Stack trace: #0 /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/press-permit-core/pp_main.php(139): PP_Hardway::flt_get_pages(Array, Array) #1 /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(235): PP->flt_get_pages(Array, Array) #2 /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-includes/post.php(4752): apply_filters(‘get_pages’, Array, Array) #3 /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-includes/post-template.php(1056): get_pages(Array) #4 /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-admin/includes/meta-boxes.php(811): wp_dropdown_pages(Array) #5 /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-admin/includes/template.php(1037): page_attributes_meta_box(Object(WP_Post), Array) #6 /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-admin/edit-form-advanced.php(686): do_meta_boxes(Object(WP_Screen), ‘side’, Object(WP_Post)) #7 /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-admin/post-new.php(85): include(‘/home/MYUSER/…’) #8 {main} thrown in /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/press-permit-core/hardway/hardway_pp.php on line 375
And even crazier errors like the one on the attached screenshot. Sorry if info is a bit crazy, it’s just a reflection of today’s experience…
Please let me know if you need Admin access and I’ll setup for you asap.
Thanks,
Andre
I just tried to upload version 4.5.5 and am getting this error: Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Help!!!!!!!
Hi !
When my users click download button they have fatal error, for me site works fine.
Hi, WPDM team,
Yesterday I renewed my PRO Version and followed these steps:
1.deactivated and deleted old version 4.3.0
2.uploaded version 4.5.5
When I tried to activate I got the massage in the attached image.
Could you help me?
Thank you,
Adriano
PS.: I reinstalled 4.3.0 version but now the license is not recognized.
My site automatically updated WordPress a couple of days ago. Today I logged in and had 3 plugin updates available, so I updated them – all successful. After those updates I cannot access my site at all and I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function WPDM\is_user_logged_in() in /home/content/97/3527697/html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/libs/class.Package.php on line 1015
Site is http://www.mind-morph.com. Please help urgently!
Chris
As I have tried different configurations to try and get the plugin working as I think it should, I have come across a few problems within it.
With the WP Dashboard and Downloads menu there is an option to view ‘Add-ons’, when selected I get this error
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 39583744) (tried to allocate 20 bytes) in /———–/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/admin/menus/class.Addons.php on line 37
In the templates area, the guide down the right gives a shortcode of ‘[gallery_WxH]’, I have tried to use this and it doesn’t work.
Also on the template page there is an option to add a featured image to the download page at the size you want. e.g at 250px width, this works OK in MS Edge browser, but all others still display the image at the upload size, so the page rendering is all out of sync.
Too many errors for a paid application IMHO, hopefully you will sort them soon :(((
Hello,
I deactivated and deleted previous version 4.2.2 and then uploaded 4.5.4
When trying to activate I get this error:

Hello,
I have purchased Download Manager Pro and following the installation guide, but I’m having problem. I’m unable to update the license. When I click on the “Save Settings” the license is not updated and the loader keeps spinning. I check the logs and found this error:

Hi!
i have created a category page from the menu but i don’t see the product list like http://themes.wpdownloadmanager.com/optimus/download-category/html-css/
Can you help me?
The error is
FATAL ERROR: CALL TO UNDEFINED FUNCTION WPDMPP_PRODUCT_PRICE() IN /WEB/HTDOCS/WWW.LOGICASOFTWARE.IT/HOME/WP-CONTENT/THEMES/OPTIMUS/TAXONOMY-WPDMCATEGORY.PHP ON LINE 24
We are using the wdpm-archive add-on. We upgraded to downloadmanager 4.5.4 and updated the add-on as well. It is showing as 2.8.1. When we load a page with the following shortcode, we get an internal server error 500. If you choose a category, it works fine. It seems to only be an issue when loading all the packages in a paged view. I also tried the [wpdm_all_packages] short code and it works fine.
