On my single package page I can download files individually but when I use
the ‘Download All’ button to download all attachments in a single zip file,
the link opens up a new page with this error:
Please activate ‘zlib’ on your server.
I saw other answers and I enabled zlib on my server but still not working.
Also: In WP Administration Area in the Attach file box inside a package
I can’t see the content inside the tab Browse (see attachment).
Maybe it’s caused by the same problem.
Any ideas?
Document links are all messed up possibly sense update. Old download posts link properly to the file. Newer ones now go to “File-not-found.txt” or “Failed to load PDF document Reload” Or download a file that says “„
endstream
endobj
startxref
116
%%EOF
”
What the heck is going on. Please help.
Hello,
I am a Pro customer, and I am having trouble customizing one of the email templates for my business. I have edited the wpdm-email-lock-template.html file so that the template is congruent with my company branding, but the images are not appearing when I receive an email after downloading a file with this template in place, in either Gmail or Yahoo. I have attached files to show you what the template should look like, and what I am seeing. Also, I have posted the custom code below. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, I test all templates but when I press in download file (is a mp3 saved in my hosting) open the mp3 url and start playing when It should be downloaded and open a popup to save the mp3, what could be the problem?
My file is saved in my wordpress site in my hosting.
Hi,
I use my web page as a portal for parents to book consultations with me and I allow them to “email files” ONLY from the computer in my office.
This makes the web page (computer) available to ALL parents who come to the office.
As a result, when a parent clicks on a file to request the link to download the file via their email (ie Email to Lock function) the pervious parents name and email address appears in the “Download – Subscribe to download” box.
Can this “cached” information be flushed/cleared each time this “box” is opened?
See the attached for an example of the “Download – Subscribe to download” box.
Thank you
Andre
I found out, that you include the following code on every generated page -> had to attach as textfile.
Why? It is W3C – Error and a link to http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/ that i don’t want to have on all my sites.
How to remove this HTML-Error?
look at the sourcecode of everypage on http://www.nowload.de/
Hi again. Please, i’m trying to understand why if i click on any of the categories listed in the widget, it doesn’t shown the list of files inside, but opens a ‘archive’. Do i need to create any ‘archive’ page or something?
http://nicep.nottingham.ac.uk/data-repository/
Also, in this page, if you click on the first or second download buttons, they try to open a popup, and it’s very weird… it is not possible to disable the complete download column so users can access the file only clinking its name? It will be more convenient for our purposes…
Thanks in advance
Hi again. It is possible to make an own template as the default, so when the authorized users upload there own files the page template and the link template will be set to the ones created additionally?
One other question. It is possible in the list view where all the packages are shown to disable the ‘download’ column?
Finally, how can you show only the top categories as ‘folders’ and when the user click on any of them, it will shown the subcategories also as folders and the files inside?
Thanks in advance
Hi there,
I am struggling to understand the purpose and usability of the front end.
Quinte simple I would like to create a new package as administrator. set this file with permission to one particular ‘subscriber’ (I would use the access control add-on for DM) whom I (administrator) have given a WordPress user ‘subscriber’ account . Then, when this subscriber log in into the DM front end, they should see this file ONLY and be able to download it straight away and also get the emailed link. Additionally, I would not want the user to be redirected to another page before download. Being a known user, I would not need to add any locks (email, password etc) to the package. Is this at all posible?
many thanks
Hi there,
I would like to do the following:
1. Choose a user, and then see all files downloaded by that user for all time, regardless of date or month or time, and
2. Choose a file and see which users downloaded that file for all time, regardless of date or month or time
I see that if I go to my user list and click on the link next to each user called “download stats”, I am taken to the “Package vs date” tab, where I see just a list of files (without the grid on the right showing the download count). This is what I see:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/hsw7f76pqrssrzg/Screenshot%202016-05-14%2013.10.34.png?dl=0
And then if I click on the “Package vs User” tab, I am given the option to choose a specific date for which I can see packages and users, but I have to search day by day until I find download activity.
If I then go back to the “Package vs Date” tab, I see a full list of files and a grid showing downloads (which wasn’t visible when clicking directly from the user list). It looks like this:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/qpa3jkykan9ag57/Screenshot%202016-05-14%2013.25.50.png?dl=0
Ultimately, none of these views is what I am looking for. I need to be able to choose a user, and see which files he or she has downloaded for all time (and Ideally the date each file was downloaded). I also need to be able to choose any file/package and see all the users who have downloaded that package, including the date it was downloaded.
Can this be done, and if it is not standard behavior, can it be custom programmed?
Thanks.
