Hi Nayeem,
apologies, I jumped to an incorrect conclusion.
The issue was caused because I renamed the ftp directory from “admin” to “Admin”. The file wasn’t downloaded because the folder name is case sensitive. The issue is not related to spaces in the filename.
However, I can confirm that there is still an issue of the ftp folder name contains a space. The folder name “Manufacturers Manuals” causes the following error:
/Scales/Manufacturer%20Manuals/Kern/: No such file or directory

Hi,
currently if the FTP folder or filename contains spaces, it will not download correctly.
Please add this to your list of future bug fixes.
Thanks
Hi Nayeem,
yes, replacing the space in the FTP folder name with a hyphen resolved the issue.
I hope this will be fixed in a future update.
Thanks
Ian
Thanks,
can you please update WordPress Download Manager Special Pack.
This is the solution:
[wpdm_packages categories="erp-scale-pse," tag_slug__and="web,dropbox" include_children=1
Also,
don’t forget to update the packages-controller as well.
Regards
Ian
Hi,
I think you recently changed the taxonomy for package tags from post_tag to wpdmtag.
The tag controller in the API is only returning post_tags and not wpdmtags.
Can you please verify if the controller needs an update.
Thanks
Ian
Hi,
we have upgraded to V5.3.3, but still can’t get wpdm_category or wpdm_packages to work.
What we require is a list of downloads showing:
We have created a test page here. Category pse402b20308 is a child of category erp-scale-pse.
Hi,
we are still waiting for an update on this.
As you can see from this forum post, this was your advised solution and working before the recent WPDM update.

We require an immediate fix.
Thanks

Hi,
can we please have an update on this issue.
This is functionality that we have been using to control our downloads for over 12 months and was broken by a recent WPDM update. We expect this issue to be addressed with the highest priority.

Hi,
are there any updates?
Hi,
are there any updates?
We have used that plugin to rescue the tags from old packages. It doesn’t work on packages which have been newly created via the API.

Hi,
I’ve tried adding:
[wpdm_packages categories="erp-scale-pse" include_children=true]
to https://pocketprograms.com/wpdm-category-test/
and it doesn’t list any packages.
Sorry, I’m not sure what you mean “use category ID separately”.
And why do we need to explicitly add child categories. This wasn’t the case 12 months ago.
Please see this forum post from last year. https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/wpdm_category-use-and-operator-for-tags/#post-139894
The solution 12 months ago was:
[wpdm_category id="erp-scale-pse" tags="web+dropbox" cols="1" order_by="create_date" toolbar=1 desc=1 item_per_page=10 template="link-template-calltoaction3.php"]
