Thank you. It is working fine for me now too. Just to clarify, did you have to do something else to resolve the issue? Or was it already working for you when you checked it again?
Thanks. I thought that the problem had been resolved, but it seems to have only been a temporary fix. For some reason when I test it again I am now only seeing an “add to cart” button (regardless of whether the user is logged into the site). I no longer see a “download” button even when I am logged in as the user role that has access to the product.
Can you please test on your end using the steps and credentials I provided in my private message from June 19th? Please note that I haven’t made any changes on the site since you applied the fix, so it is strange why it is no longer showing the “download” button.
Please let me know. Thank you.
Thank you. Yes that resolved it. Can you please let me know what you did to resolve it so I can implement the same fix the next time I do an upgrade and experience this same issue?
Hi just following up to see if you have any updates on this. Thanks.
Hi. It won’t let me do the renewal from my dashboard. Can you please send me a payment link to do the renewal?
Hello. I did some further investigating and it appears that downloads are only being tracked when an item is purchased in the shopping cart. For example, we offer two ways to purchase our downloads.
1) Purchase a specific package with the shopping cart (these downloads ARE being tracked) or
2) Become a member to download multiple packages on a monthly or annual basis (these downloads ARE NOT being tracked).
In your test it appears that you purchased a package and then downloaded it (and the system tracked that test purchase in the stats). However, can you please also try to download something as a member to see why member downloads are not being tracked in the stats? If needed, I can create a member account for you to use for testing. Please let me know.
Thanks
Nevermind. I was able to resolve this issue.
Thanks for figuring out the issue. Just to clarify, was WPDM Pro updated to fix the issue or was the PDF stamper add-on updated to fix the issue?
Can you please advise on the steps that I need to follow to locate the PHP log error?
Thanks
Hello. Can you please address this support ticket? You have told me several times that you would look into this, but have not done so.
Bumping this up for a response. Please advise.
Hi. Can someone please provide an update on this?
Hi Nayeem. I’ve tried to be patient, but the support on here has really been going downhill. It’s incredible that I have had to send so many follow-ups over the last several months to get a simple answer to a support question. It’s really disappointing and frustrating.
Can you please just have Shahjada provide a response here?
Thank you.
Hello. Any updates on this?
I look forward to receiving the update.
Thank you.
Hello. It’s been almost 7 months since I originally posted this and I still have not received a reply. I would really appreciate it if someone from the support team could please provide a reply. Thanks!
Hello. I am following up on this support ticket. Please advise how I can show everything in the archive except for those packages that are tagged with a particular tag. In my case, I want all of my packages displayed except for packages that are tagged with “basic-only”.
Here is an example of the code that I am using:
[wpdm-archive cols=”4″ cat_view=”compact” button_style=”default” link_template=”card_featured_image_thumbnail_add_to_cart” order_by=”post_title” order=”asc” items_per_page=”20″]
Please let me know what needs to be altered in that code in order to exclude by the tag “basic-only”.
Thanks
Hi Nayeem,
I went ahead and manually updated hundreds of our posts because I could not afford to wait for support to reply.
However, I have some more changes that I need to do to our template names, so I need to get this issue fixed, so that it doesn’t happen when I rename a template.
For logging into our site, please try using a different browser or clear your cookies and cache (or open a private browser tab). You have experienced this same issue with logging into our site previously and you have been able to log in fine when logging in from a different browser.
Once you have logged in, please do the following:
1) Go to edit the private package called “Test Package for Checking Template Issue”.
2) Assign “Test 1 Template” as the page template for that package.
3) Go to the page templates editor and rename that page template to something else (i.e., Test 2 Template).
4) Go back to edit the same package from Step 1. You will see that the renamed template is no longer assigned to this package.
This appears to be a bug that needs to be fixed, since it happens every time a template name has been edited.
Thank you.
