Hello,
Thanks for your work !
Please, could you add the feature or the following “control” to private message ?
It seems possible to send multiple messages to admin or users even if the message or the reply is empty.
Could you make a feature to prevent a such behaviour ?
A windows with “Message can not be sent if empty”
Could be a nice thing.
Thanks.
Hello again Shahjada,
Thanks for your answer.
I have so many questions !
1 -Please I wonder if I miss something ?
May we have a possibility to CSS Private message ?
I mean I did it the old way by editing CSS code.
But I wonder if we could have this feature in a graphical interface like Elementor or Divi interface ?
I’m afraid that all my settings could be erassed with a plugin update.
Could we have the same interface as download manager where all elements can be customized in a very clean interface please ?
2 – Another thing please ?
Could it be possible to allow admin to prevent users from changing their settings from Private message itself ?
An admin option for disabling “settings” and “disconnect” buttons from Private message ? XWhen someone reads a message ?
Indeed it could be a nice idea so the users should go to “My account page” for doing those operations.
3 – Could you allow the admin to hide e-mail adress ? When we are in PM e-mail adress is visible in infos on the right under “about”
I would like to know if this field can be completely disabled again a useful option for the admin, not just a display none but real desactivation of the retrieving of the e-mail adress ?
I don’t know why all members could see e-mail adress of another memeber, if an admin could choose to activate it or not would be very nice ?
4 – The tchat position is right bottom on website, could we have a option please for placing it elsewhere ?
5 – When will be the next update of Private message please ?
I admit some suggested feartures sound urgent for me ! ๐
I’m so sorry to ask so much things in one post !
Thank you !
Hi,
Here are the answers to your questions:
#1. You can add custom CSS code in the customizer. And if you want to customize the template file, you can create a folder named private-message
inside your active theme dir and copy any template file from pm plugins dir to that dir. Also, instead of using PM shortcode at front-end to manage PM, you can show it in WPDM user dashboard when you are using WPDM.
#2. Now clear, may you please elaborate a little more.
#3. Yes, noted for implementation.
#4. Yes, noted for implementation.
#5. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks.
