I am unable to add a description to any files or packages. I enter the description, WPDM tells me it has been saved but when I refresh the page the description is missing and does not save to the DB.
Otherwise I really like your plugin so far.

please try deactivate and reactivating plugin, if that doesn’t resolve the issue please send temporary wp-admin login info to support@wpdownloadmanager.com, i’ll check that
Having the same issue.

Hello, first of all, I’d like to thank you for sharing this very useful plugin.
However, I believe I do experience the same problem involving the FILE DESCRIPTION. The description saves, but it does not show at the download page. I’ve sent you an email for the details. It does save the description I’ve written on the Manage page,
Also, I think there is a bug? Cause whenever I try to switch the COUNTER: TO SHOW, cause by default it is ON HIDE. Whenever I try to save it to SHOW, it does not save. I mean, it will save for the second time, but example if I create a NEW FILE, upload the document, put the file description and set the COUNTER to show, everything saves except for the COUNTER which is still on HIDE but when I switch it again on SHOW it will now save.

it only may happen for conflict with other plugin, as with standard setting wpdm works perfectly. So I need to check it per installation. Please send temporary wp-admin login info to support@wpdownloadmanager.com, if possible.

We’re having the same problem with our installation. Everything else working absolutely fine, but there’s no Description in the data array. Here’s what’s being output at the moment in the download popup $data.
Array ( [id] ► 9 [title] ► Test File [description] ► [category] ► N; [file] ► Lighthouse.jpg [password] ► [download_count] ► 0 [access] ► member [show_counter] ► 0 [quota] ► 0 [link_label] ► Download [icon] ► download_down_arrow.png )
Is there a uniform answer to this, or would you need to look at our configuration?
