Downloads not working when moving site to Amazon Hosting

Hi, hopefully someone can help me. We have developed a client’s website on our own servers using WP Download Free and are ready to take the site live. The client is using Amazon Hosting, and this is what they are telling me “The solution that we use to offload the media library to AWS S3 (our cloud storage service) does not seem to pick up the files as managed by Download Manager.”

Is the Download Manager Amazon S3 Storage plugin the answer to this problem? If so, how do we go about configuring it?
