Download Limit Add-on VS WordPress Pro Membership

Hello,

we have purchased the Download Limit Add-on, but it doesn’t seem to be working as we expected. We have a website on which we want to sell videos. Users should be able to buy videos either as:
1) Single product or
2) Via plans. There will be 3 different plans and each plan will have a number of allowed downloads monthly. For example, the Bronze plan will include 3 downloads per month, the Silver plan will include 5 downloads per month, and the Gold plan will include 10 downloads per month.

Can we achieve this with the Download Limit Add-on? And do we need WordPress Download Manager Pro? Or would it be better to use WordPress Pro Membership for this purpose instead? Can you please recommend the best plugin or addon for what we need? And what are payment gateways that are supported by the WordPress Pro Membership? In particular, we are interested in the Coinbase Payment Gateway.

Nayeem, thank you for your reply. Can you please tell me if I can use WordPress Pro Membership to define how many downloads per month each user can make? Or do I need the Download Limit Add-on for this too? And if so, how can I make this? I don’t see these options in your Demos.

Hello again,

I did some research and I think that I finale have an idea of how to set up the system using your plugins. I have 2 questions for you:
1) Can I have packages sell both as single products and via subscriptions? So for if the user has a subscription with 3 monthly downloads and spends those 3 monthly downloads can that user buy a new package separately? And can subscribers with the monthly free downloads download packages with the prices at all?

2) On the WP Pro Membership page (https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wp-pro-membership/) there is a list of supported payment gateways:

PayPal – Integrated
Authorize.net – Integrated
2Checkout – Add-on
Stripe – Add-on
Alipay – Add-on
Paystack – Add-on

There is no Coinbase payment gateway in a list, although you send me a link to it. So does this addon supports Coinbase or not?

you can give a package a certain role, for the role-based users they can access those certain packages, for a new package you can also able to give the role for the certain package, the subscription plan will be applied for the package or packages,

I already saw the Coinbase addon, but it doesn’t say if it is working with the WP Pro Membership addon. So can you please tell me does Coinbase works with the WP Pro Membership?
