I increased the size of allowed uploads to 300M by making changes to the php.ini file as suggested on this site. A 280MB file successfully uploaded, but when I try to download this file, I get a message that the browser can’t reach this page. It says the webpage “might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.” Is there something that could be happening with WP Download Manager that could be affecting this download? Or do I need to make a similar change to the server files as was done to increase upload size to make the download successful? Thanks!

Hello @pn2021,
Hope you are well.
Will you please share the related page/file/package URL with us?
If possible, please, give your temporary wp-admin login details in a private reply for checking the issue.
Also please try after making a similar change to the server files as was done to increase upload size to make the download successful and then let us know about it.
With Regards

Thank you for your assistance! I actually was able to figure out the issue by looking in my error log, where I saw this message: Allowed memory size of 419430400 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 266354688 bytes)

Increasing the memory limit solved the problem.

Hi @pn2021,
Please clear cache and stats and stats from the WPDM privacy settings for once, and if you are not using the latest version, update your plugin. We have adjusted the memory usage issue already, you shouldn’t require to increase memory, any server with minimal requirement where WordPress runs smoothly, The WPDM also will do so.
Hope you understand now.
Thank you
