Fixed it. Please check now.
I have created a test package here http://www.jacobi.net/library/test/ Download worked without any issue. Please send me the package URL where you have the issue.
Hi,
Download Manager usually works with any plugin that follows WordPress standard rules. Although there might be some unforeseen issues with some plugins.
The issue you are facing seems to be related to the Post Table plugin. Download Manager packages are custom post type with wpdmpro
post slug. Maybe you used the wrong slug package
Please ask the Post Table developer about the issue, they will understand better what is going on. If it works with another custom post it will work with Download Manager packages too.
Thanks.
Hi,
We will add those missing string in next release.
Please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply to check the frontend upload page issue.
Regards.
Indexing depends on your package. Search engines don’t index files directly from WPDM storage location because WPDM doesn’t serve downloads using actual file path. If you check the download URL you will get the idea, it uses post id to serve downloads. So, file indexing is not an issue actually when you delete a package.
You don’t have to use outside tool like FTP client. I suggested it as just another option. You can use File Manager add-on which is an extension of WPDM. Using this add-on you can manage your files from Dashboard Downloads File Manager page.
Upload box shows the limit, maybe you missed it. In next release, we are adding chunk upload feature. So, there will be no limits.
Hi,
I just tested Form Lock here https://www.cromsource.com/download/regulatory-newsletter-january-march-2015/
The issue was your custom page template because it doesn’t have the [download_link]
or [download_link_extended]
tag.
Create a custom template which contains one of these tags or use the Extended page template.
Thanks.
Unlocked your key.
Hi,
Theme option and frontend add new package working now. We are releasing a new version of Marketplace theme soon. I have already added the fix in your version.
Thanks.
The upload form and missing meta box issue are related to your theme. It removes the Download Manager’s attach files and some other meta box contents. These meta boxes returned when I switched to another theme. Could you please ask theme developer to check this?
Yes, It is possible using custom link template. Use following code in your custom link template.
<a href="[page_url]" target="_blank">[title] [version]</a>
Please try now. The key was linked to another domain.
These are custom template tags like [version] or [file_size]. Like shortcodes but works only inside Download Manager link/page templates.
Deactivate and delete old version first. Then install the latest one downloaded from your purchase area. You won’t lose any data or settings.
And you can update future releases right from your dashboard.
Hi,
It is not possible yet to get single file statistics. The workaround is attaching only 1 file to each package.
Regards.
Hi,
Removing files from the package doesn’t delete it from the server. It is designed to work like that to avoid accidental deletion of a file which might be attached to another package.
You can delete server files using an FTP client or cpanel. If you want to delete from admin dashboard you need File Manager add-on. Using this you can browse and perform file operations easily.
Thanks.
Hi, Cancelled your PayPal order. Thanks.
You are using very old version of Download Manager. Please install the latest WPDM. That should fix all issues.
You can use Pro license in 1 domain/sub-domain only. We have to unlock the key from your dev site before you can use it on the production site. Send me the key in private reply if you want me to unlock it.
You need to upgrade your license if you want to use the key in multiple domains.
Looks like there is a conflict between WPDM and S2 Member plugin in your installation although both are working without any issue in my test server. Only change I made today is in /download-manager/tpls/wpdm-add-new-file-front.php
file. This doesn’t seem related to this new issue.
Did you use both plugins before? Or installed s2 member recently? Please take a look at WPDM Pro Membership plugin. This membership plugin integrates perfectly with Download Manager.
There is an issue with your theme too. It removes the Download Manager’s attach files meta box content. This metal box returned when I switched to another theme. Could you please ask theme developer to check this?
Please send temporary wp-admin login info as private reply.
Please check this doc https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/where-is-my-license-key/
It shows how to get your license key. The one you sent in private reply is the order id.
