When you reload the page, you will see that the order is different every time. Also, some elements are shown twice.

Changing order_by to orderby doesn’t change anything.

Resolved: yes.
Fixed: with a hand full workarounds its fixed. But a “real fix” has to be made by you!

I found the issue:
There is a plugin conflict with iThemes Security. You have to disable “filter long URLs”. Otherwise you will run in the issue as described.

You should fix both: the problem with wpdm_category and with the long URLs.

Nothing of this fixed this issue.

With wpdm_category all workes fine. With wpdm_packages now Im not able to switch the sites.

I’ve tested the new code [wpdm_packages categories="magazine-2021" paging="1" cols="1" toolbar=0 item_per_page=10 order_by="title" order="asc" template="5616095e566f4"] and now the order_by works again.

But when I click the button to the next page, I can only see a never ending loading picture.

I’ve tested it and all works fine?!
Can you edit an existing site? E.g. Magazine 2021?
If yes: You could make your tests on this site.

I know – I’ve made it on this way.

I’m using the bulk import since many months. And it works long time correctly.
But since a few weeks (update?!) this problem exist.

Now I’m confused.
I’ve imported all my datas with the bulk import.
And data from the column “preview” was saved in the database in the value __wpdm_preview.

After updating from 4.4.X to 4.5.X I couldn’t see any thumb image on my sites.
After changing the values in the database from “__wpdm_preview” to “_thumbnail_id” all works fine.

Also interesting:
When I editing a Package (only open a Package and safe it) the value “__wpdm_preview” will be deleted in the database.

Confirmed or a mistake on my part?

I resaved the images in Photoshop and now it’s also worked with download manager!

How can I check if a jpg is valid for your downloadmanager?

I’ve opened the images in FF, IE, Photoshop, Windows Photo Viewer,… and all works fine!

Since your update something is wrong!

When I add a new package, select a file from the file browser and publish the package:
i’m not able to attach a second file and there are no files listed at “attached files”.

Also the pre-existing files have now the same error!
