Hi Tahasin,

It is working correctly now! Thanks so much for the quick solution!

Hi Tahasin,

Please follow these steps to re-create the issue (without dev tools open as that could disable your caching):

Go here: https://projects.idiliqdevelopments.com/wpdmpackages/wyndham-grand-la-cala-golf-residences-downloads-2/

The downloaded image should be the same as the thumbnail.

Now go to: https://projects.idiliqdevelopments.com/wpdmpackages/wyndham-residences-golf-del-sur-downloads/

The Thumbnail is incorrect and showing the thumbnail of the other download package (the downloaded image file is correct).

But we need to show the correct thumbnail image as well.

Yes if I clear cache, it will work fine for just 1 time though, if you go to download package 2 it will be wrong again, so looks like there is an issue with how thumbnail images are cached from different packages if the file names are the same.

Hello Tahasin,

It is still not working correctly, please note not all thumbnails are wrong, and sometimes clearing the cache will fix some thumbnails, but then others are not correctly working again.

The first test I did the thumbnail was already incorrect. I tried on /wpdmpackages/ramada-hotels-suites-marina-del-sol-downloads/Images/Bedroom 2.jpg

I feel it has to do with that the images have same filenames, and that your plugin creates a cached version of the image in your own wpdm folder and once it has done it, it does not re-generate if a user goes from 1 download package to another and then the thumbnail image is incorrect. Any way we can disable to wpdm caching of the images?

EDIT: Did some more testing and does look like the issue is coming from the URL used for cached images: https://projects.idiliqdevelopments.com/wp-content/uploads/wpdm-cache/Bedroom%202-150×150.jpg
When clearing the cache from Privacy, and opening image “Bedroom 2.jpg” from “Package 1” it works fine, if I then go to “Package 2” to open “Bedroom 2.jpg” it is showing a thumbnail of “Package 1” and not “Package 2”.

It does look like it is using image thumbnails from other download packages, as some images will have same filename, perhaps that is where the system gets confused. However we need the images to have the names they currently have, but just take a thumbnail of the correct image. Structure is:

Download Package 1 -> Folders -> Brochures/ Images/ etc -> “Bathroom 1.jpg”

However Download Package 2 through 8 has the same structure and files.

Hi Tahasin,

I just uploaded the folders directly on the server, I havent made any custom modifications on how to generate the thumbnails. I am using basic [dir_view] I believe and the thumbnails are automatically generated yes? I see it is not using the actual image URL but a cache-wpdm instead, but I dont know how to edit/adjust that.

I do use a custom page template called “ie-template”.

Hi Nayeem, one issue, when selecting [dir_view] and you are clicking through the folders and files, when you select an individual file, the popup shows with a download button, when you press that, it downloads the entire package, not just that individual file? This seems counter-intuitive, is this a bug?

Thanks Nayeem, working now!

Hello Nayeem, thanks for getting back to me. I was more looking for this layout option seen in your youtube video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWIOIbN8IOo

Is this also possible with the extended plugin?

Hi,

Yes I already have the redirect url on login, but since you have an option to be logged in on register, it would be great if we can also use the redirect parameter on register (with automatic login enabled).

And if the option “Require Email Verification” is enabled, it seems weird to ask users to set a password for their account, if it gets changed once they press the register button and need to use the password that is emailed to them?

It does not make any sense really, right?
