I made a couple of custom templates that I can select inside the package editor “Link Template”. But my question is where this is stored to make automatical changes to them.

In the download item, I can select the link template. I made some own ones. Where I can ind them in database or filesystem.

my hoster do not understand your request and I also do not understand. I can connect to https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/ without any problems on this computer. It is a dedicated server and default firewall.

My website is now similar to the word “offline”. No download is available, not the service and also not the software itself. Thousands of customers are becoming crazy. I will be curious when I will get help with this problem.

However, just want to remind that the internal files on our server, not linked to aws, make trouble and that a direct download with a browser, means direct download without wdm works well.

we have an own dedicated server. Common windows installation. Maybe you can give us a tip where to find this setting. Is it a php or a IIS setting?

The reported problem happens most times on internal files. We have only the newest files on aws. But the people report that it happen on internal downloads and also on aws downloads. I tried myself on the customer computer and it really happens on both download locations.

What about the time a download is valid? Maybe a session? We have around 100 MB files. And we limit the download to 100 k/bit. So a download may can download some time. MAybe the timing in WDM is for small downloads?

ok, I think I have verified that this is WDM problem. I have downloaded the file now without a WDM lin, with a direct link this time, and this worked well. For information, the files are all around 90-130 MB.

It happen with Chrome and IE same. Also with disabled AV.

I personally have 11.09, but I get this info from many customers on the webpage and there I do not know the IE version they have.
I just tried to reproduce (successfull) the report.

Again, this are the SAME packages as with local files and local files are counted. There is NO difference between this packages expect the file location. One is local one is S3. Local is counting, S3 not. So something in your looping answers is wrong. With your answers, local files will not counted, too, but they do. However I will send you login soon.

Hello,

please give me an answer to the problem. I have now a download manager that allow me to create stats and watch the downloads but it do only on the half of the files. All important free downloads are not counted. Free downloads are Amazon S3 downloads.

As I wrote, the packages from S3 and local files are exact the same, expet the linked file. Both packages have one file for download and other settings are the same, include the template to show the shortcode. But in the WDM the S3 files do not get a count.

In an newer post I read that Amazon S3 is Beta. Why you do not give this information on the purchase page? I expect to get well developed and well tested software when purchase.

However, I need a solution for the download counts.

Why the download count is working on ALL other packages with one file with the same template to show but not on S3 linked one?
What you wrote will not count the other packages with local files, too but it do.

The key is working, downloads are working well, it also uploads 30 MB and then fails back to 975 Kb and counts again to around 30MB, just a loop. It seems there is a problem with big files not with the api key.

How long it is valid? This is an important information because in one hour as example, people can download all files.

Do the download count not work with S3? All S3 files I have added have still not one download but i downloaded it from different computer around the world (remote) and the number is not increasing. The local links increase well.

BTW: I was not able to uplaod to S3 with the plugin. It starts regular automatically the upload new. Seems to be a loop.
