Dear Shahriar, I changed the Theme but the problem is still there. I only have administrator rights on the wordpress installation, but i don’t have access to the phpmyadmin and the apache server. does it make sense to make a teamviewer session with these possibilities? our system administrator is not in the office currently.
Dear Shahriar, all filenames are unchanged after upload. I tried to add a “normal” download in our wordpress. this download without the wp-downloadmanager works fine and there is nothing added to the filename when downloading… so it really has something to do with your plugin I think.
I also deactivated and deleted the current version and reinstalled an old one and the current one again with the same problem.
Dear Shahriar – I already tried this, but there is still this long filename…
Dear Hasibul – this is unfortunately not possible as this is only our intranet. do you have an idea of what may be wrong?
Dear Hasibul – the filenames in the uploads-directory are correct
Dear Hasibul, I installed the old version – still the same: the whole URL is attached to the file-name after downloading.
I deactivated all the plugins – still the same problem.
Dear Shahriar, how can I install the old version without losing any of my downloads?
Dear Shafayet, i will send you some screenshots
Dear Hasibul, this is our private intranet – i can not send you logins as you will not be able to log in ๐
may I send you any screenshots?
Dear all, I changed the root directory and added some back-slashes. now it works fine:
f:\apache\folder… something like this and not: /apache/folder.
no sorry, this is totally offline.
when I click on ‘Browse Files’, then the link in the field changes. wpdm adds some backslashes to the link.
attached you can have a look
Dear Jass, it was really a plugin that made this problem. thank you
