Hello everyone,

I am looking for a way to implement a specific functionality on my website. Currently, I have a restricted area where registered users can access product manuals. These manuals are also available on individual product pages, but registration is required to download them.

I would like to create a separate page where all these manuals are freely accessible, without users needing to register or log in. Essentially, a sort of library of manuals with completely open access.

Does anyone have similar experiences or can suggest a method or setting that might facilitate this implementation? Any advice or suggestion will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello,

I hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

You have Manuals A, B, and C(for example), which are restricted to registered users. Now, you want to allow all users to access these manuals from a different page without registration. Am I correct?

– You can create a separate category for the manuals you want to make freely accessible to all visitors and display them in a table using the wpdm_all_packages shortcode.

Yes, exactly.

I’ve already tried creating a category (setting it to Access: All Visitors) and assigning it to manuals A, B, C. On the new page everything is okay, but on the old pages the block no longer occurred, and “Download Now” also appeared there.

It’s not possible to provide access to all visitors for the manuals on one page while enforcing restrictions on another page because at the end the packages are same.

You might consider creating a duplicate copy of each manual and allowing all visitors to access them. I know it’s not the most feasible or efficient solution but the only way to achieve your requirement.
