[Pre-Sale] Updating from 3.3.6 to 4.1.7

If I were to purchase the new update and upgrade from 3.3.6 to 4.1.7, will this replace any custom and updated coding to templates? I have over 900 downloads (adding more every day) and do not wish to have to go back and edit the drop down for each template.

Also, in update 3.1.3 it says “Download count reset enabled.” Is there a way to reset the download count for all downloads?

everything will be ok except you may need to reassign categories.
