We received a surge of downloads (~17,000) on the 30th of December 2020 from a relatively few number of IP addresses, all ‘Unknown browser’. This has skewed our download stats which we rely upon to report our conservation impact to donors so I need to clean the download statistics record so that it is accurate.
I have two requests to improve the stats area:
1. Please can you add a sort feature to the ‘Download history’ tab so that we can sort the downloads by ‘Browser’ and ‘IP’ to make investigation easier?
2. Can you add a feature to select and bulk remove download records (and at the same time also reduce the package download counter for each deleted download record)?
I work for a charity working to conserve coral reefs from the impacts of tourism. Our website https://greenfins.net/action-centre hosts a public download area where we share conservation posters and other materials. WP Download Manager has been brilliant so far and I’m grateful for the developers who have invested so much time into making and maintaining the plugin. This is very important for us so I hope that someone can help!
