All context in title. How can I display a download button in a single or any other kind of template in Elementor? I’ve seen the Elementor addon, it only does packages, etc. I’m looking for single file downloads templates.
Hello Nolan,
Hope you are well. Thanks for writing to us. You can use Package
Element Module from Download Manager Section. Please kindly check and let me know.
Thank you and kind regards
Thank you for responding. But that only shows a pre-made template with the title of the document (linked) and download counts. I’m looking for either just the ‘Download’ button custom key or just the download botton.
Furthermore, all the modules as for ‘Package’ parameters, which is counter intuitive for a custom template, because the idea is the template will fetch the package automatically.

Thank you!
You can use a custom link/page template by modifying the template contents. I have checked that you are using the free version. The PRO version provides scope for creating custom templates easily. Please kindly check.
Thank you and regards
I tried to reach out to technical support but to no avail. There’s nothing on web that mentions the pro version supports this. I’ve seen the php editing templates, but that’s not what I’m looking for. I’m looking for the ‘Download’ button in a single download page template in Elementor. Can you please support?
I’ve seen this too. Again, I’m looking for a custom template in Elementor, not WordPress core. Please see Elementor Dynamic Tags https://developers.elementor.com/docs/dynamic-tags/
Can you please elaborate more on your requirement? What are you meaning by custom template in Elementor? Please kindly check and let me know.
Thank you and kind regards
Thank you very much for your continued support!
I’m currently building a library with approximately 5,000 documents and am trying to create a dynamic, automated Elementor template similar to the one found on the Reqiq Downloads page (https://reqiq.co/downloads/). The template utilizes dynamic tags for fields such as the post title, featured image, post excerpt, and post URL, ensuring it is flexible and reusable across all posts without requiring shortcodes or manual linking with package for each document.
The challenge I’m facing is with the ‘Download’ button. I need it to dynamically link to and trigger the download for the respective file in each post. Currently, templates like the ones used for this (https://reqiq.co/ethiopias-export-future-balancing-reform-and-reality/) and this (https://reqiq.co/insights/) automate most of the UI elements. However, the download functionality has been configured manually by linking each file using a custom field connected to your plugin’s master key links. While this method works, it undermines the scalability and efficiency of using templates.
To summarize, I need a single ‘Download’ button in the Elementor template that automatically downloads the respective file for each post without requiring manual linking. This functionality is essential for maintaining the flexibility and automation of the template.
I hope this explanation clarifies my requirements. Could you please guide me on how to achieve this? Or if the PRO version indeed has this?
Thank you again for your support!
Can you please explain in Elementor’s context? I’m not looking for template editing in the PHP/or WP Core codes.
I’m sure you’re aware of Elementor, the page/template builder?
I see many similar requests on your ‘Elementor Addons’ page but adequate answer was never provided. Are you aware of ‘Dynamic Fields’ in Elementor? And are you sure your plugins supports it?
Please refer to the first, second and third quaestion by ‘DanWPdownload’ on the page.
Sorry for the delay. When you use a custom made template, you have scope for showing what content you want to show based on your requirement. And when you do with elementor add-on and select that template from add-on for that file/package, thus your required appear will come. Please kindly check let me know, if you want this.
Thank you and kind regards
I have done that too. Unfortunately. But I’m looking to use Elementor’s button.
Can I trouble you to take a look? Here’s the template. It has the button I want to work. For comparison, I’ve also added your template buttons. Thank you!

You can also customize the download button in the custom template and make the download button as like the elementor made button. I hope you have understood. Please kindly check.
Thank you and regards
Were you able to login and see the issue please? Thank you!
The problem with changing the main template is the button will be the same everywhere… where a customisable button with elementor would make it easier to have different looking buttons for different templates.. for example, a small one in listing pages, a big one in single-view page, etc.
So, there’s no dynamic field/tag option?
For now, we have not such any implemented feature for elementor add-on, but you can also keep a feature request here, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/forum/download-manager-pro-feature-request/ or you can also order a customization service here, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/custom-upgrade-service/. Please kindly check and let me know.
Thank you and kind regards
