How to delete/remove old versions of files

When I upload a new version of an existing file, the original file is being retained in the /uploads/download-manager-files/ directory. Is there a way to permanently remove the original file from the server when a new file is uploaded to the package to replace it?

Sorry, but file overwrite option is only available with pro version.
