I am a new user of WPDM and straight away I have some feature requests:
- As I like to customize my download buttons, I would be helpful if any information in the download buttons were wrapped into <div>’s with classes, to enable easy customization using css;
- Download buttons could use more vivid colors. Before, I used the plugin Simple Download Monitor. Colors used with that plugin would be a nice addition to WPDM.
- Files can be linked from cloud storage such as Dropbox, Googledrive and OneDrive. Can you add Owncloud?
- I like the ability to set a daily download limit for a maximum number of downloads per day per user. That being said, my website has a bunch of very small downloads (just a few KB’s) along with many large ones (a few GB’s in size). It would be useful if individual packages could be set to not count towards the daily download limit (but remain available for download only for registered users), thereby allowing for more small downloads to be downloaded than what is set in the daily download limit
- In addition to the daily limit on the number of downloads, can a daily limit on download bandwidth be added? For example, a daily limit per user for a maximum of 50 GB’s, regardless of the number of downloads?
- Can you make the windows under “Package Settings” for a download package a bit wider?
- Can you allow free text in the “Package size” window under Package settings? This would allow for further customization of custom download buttons.
