/download page not needed

Hello –

A page exists for download status that I don’t want to display. The URL begins with /download/. How do I suppress this page from being created?

Downloads currently work from a button (shortcode) on a different (custom) page that works just fine.

I have this same question too. It would be great to disable the link to the download page.
