Hi there!
I want to use the WordPress default plaintext emails instead of the html ones from WPDM when someone clicks on reset password. I’m not great with filters (https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/filter-reference/wpdm_email_template_email_template_id-customize-email-template/), any pointers on how to achieve that?

Best regards,
M

It would already help if I could disable/remove Facebook/Twitter links, because they’re non-existant. But overriding/disabling the whole template would be good as well. Can I put the email-templates in the themes directory to override?

You can use download-manager\email-templates\default.html and customize the template as your requirement and there you shall also find the link for facebook and twitter. please check

thanks

Thanks for the reply! I’ve copied the default.html into my themes/template/download-manager/email-templates folder and removed those links, but it doesn’t work, WPDM is still catching the original default.html from the plugins directory. Can you check what’s going on there?

Hello Matthias,
Please put your file by following the below structure and then customize it.
your-theme/download-manager/default.html
Hopefully, it will solve your problem.
Thanks
