Changing header.php linked to page-template

Hello,

I have a custom header file in my wordpress project (header-something.php). When I assign a page-template to my package file and preview it, it uses the default header.php of wordpress. Is there an easy way to modify this. Or may I have some hints on where could I edit it in the pugin itself?

This is nothing to do with download-manager plugin.
You need to change in your theme. Please check the official docs here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Designing_Headers
