Archive – Category and Subcategory Sort Order

The archive tool is great, but I have not found a way to display the categories and subcategories in the order I want.
By default it seem to list them alphabetically, but It would be nice to have them listed by level of importance or even by date.
For me, this would be particularly useful for the subcategories as mine are all dates.

You can use a wordpress plugin to order the categories. We use Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order.
