How to retrieve the older version 2.6.9 of Download Manager, anyone know!!!

hello, i have deleted the older version of download manager 2.6.9, and updated to 2.7 which caused disaster to my website. so now need to get back to 2.6.9 version.

if anyone have a copy of 2.6.9 download manager, and can share it with me to download that would be a big help!
or if you know how can i retrieve the deleted plugin and its files????

Apparently you can still get it from WordPress.org : https://wordpress.org/plugins/download-manager/
But I’d like to be sure my problem can’t be solved before rolling back to this version… and having to re-upload all my files to WPDM!!!

changing version never harms any data. But upgrade process for 2.7 explained here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-download-manager-v2-7-0/ with pros and cons.

2.7 is a disaster.

I miss too much the “show counter” in the previous release. Is it possible adding this feature in the new release? How?
I started using DM only because I need to show users how many downloads. Please help!

In order to downgrade, is it enough uninstall the new and install the old?
Or should I remove some row in option database table?
