Strange, it is not working anymore.
when i start the import it now imports 5 files and than the console throws an error:
POST http://www.nowload.de/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 500 (Internal Server Error) load-scripts.php?c=1&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,plupload&ver=4.4.2:5
Can you please check that out. You can take the importfile above, i will delete the doublicates.
strange. Now the importer is making exactly 20 imports and than stops and makes no output…?
Can you please check out, and if you are checking maybe decrease the pulse to 5
Now after importing about 3.000 files it wont work.
can you tell me where to decrease the pule to maybe 5? Hope this will help keeping the import running.
That works. juhu. Finaly you have done to fix almost all bugs and problems with this importer in only 2 or 3 month ๐
except the one that categorys createt with the bulkimport can never been imported again, even after deleting and recreating.

we set max_execution_time: 1200 and max_input_time :1200
But still, after about 3 Minutes the importer justs stops and about 40 Entries are imported. no message etc.
There must be something else we can modify to import more at a time
@Shahriar, that is not right. It is for all categories i have made a description for. Once i filled out the descriptionfield in the category the category will not be imported by csv-importer. even if you delete it and create new. the word for the category can never been used again.

Support is not what i expected from a paidplugin full of bugs. sorry for the true words.
seems like we will never get this project running. burned so much money right now. Not only the plugin and all other plugins, but the time of waiting to get bugs fixed is much more wasted money.
Would be nice if this could be fixed soon.

I made some more testing. Very strage.
The importfile has "backup-new,backup,Testcategory"
as post_category.
Please find attached CSV-Importfile and test it on my server.
I tested the following:
1. Made a new Category called Testcategory, made an import and the package is imported and the Category Testcategory is set. Not Backup.
2. I deleted the Category Backup
and created a new Category called backup-new
. I imported the file and the package is put into Testcategory and backup-new
3. i added a new category called (guess what ๐ ) Backup
and made an import. The Package is put into Testcategory and backup-new. The Category backup is ignored…
There must be something going wrong in the DB when adding a category via bulk_import-script.

Ok, the tags and modified date are working now. Thanks a lot for that.
The Categorybug is strange. I found out the following:
All Categories where created by the bulk_import script, than i sorted them. Now when trying to import with the CSV-Importer (not the bulk_import) the category will not be set.
Now the strange thing. I added a category with add category. just filled out the name inputfield with Testcategory and pressed “Add new Category”. Now i started a csv-import again, with the old Category AND the Testcategory, and supprise the Testcategory is set, but not the other one.
So the bulk_import script is making something different to create the categories. That must be the reason why it works on your testserver and not on our server.
We have about 200 Categories and already typed in descriptions etc. can you fix that bug without deleting all categories? would save me houres of work.
Again 3 days no answer.

I attached a test-csv in the post before. Why don’t you test it? so you can see it it is not working. lasts 1 minute. now you frustrating me saying everything is working… but it doesn’t.
Please take the attached file and try to import. look at mod date and category. they are not working.
