I haven’t tested with any other forms.
But I have found one thing. One of the fields (previously hidden) on my form contains the link to my download which is populated automatically.
It uses a simple function like :
$package = wpdm_get_package($post_id);
$download_url = $package[‘download_url’];
To grab the URL and some JS to append it to the field.
When the form is submitted with this active, the download count is incremented. Even though no download has taken place.

Great.
But that’s not what is happening. We are just submitting a form on a page and the system is counting it as a download. Even though the form is not related to the download. It’s just a stand alone form, on the page.

I would like to. But I have been told you don’t support form lock with HubSpot forms.

I am putting something together that will work in a similar way. But at the moment, this form is just a plain hubspot form on a Download page and when it is submitted, the download counter increments up by 1. Which is not correct behaviour.

I would assume (as it’s not detailed in the API documentation) that ‘expire_date’ set the expiration date for the package as a whole. Not for an individual download link. From the Dashboard I can create an individual download link with it’s own parameters. I.e. download count and/or expiry timeout. These are individual link that I can sent to different users with different parameters. This is what I want to automatically via a function.

Your responses thus far have been less than helpful. All I want at this point is a straight answer. Can it be done with the functions we have available. Yes or No. I don’t need a link to your custom upgrade service as I’m not going to use it.

I don’t ask for much on this support service and as a full customer of many years, it would be nice just to get a direct clear answer to this question.

I have read through the documentation. As far as I can see, there is no way here to create a temporary/limited use URL in the same way I can create one through the dashboard. If I could see how to do it, I would not ask you if it was possible at all.

I am asking you – IS IT POSSIBLE? Can I in some way create a URL that has X number of uses proramatically? Can it be done. If it can, It would be very nice to know how it can be done.

If it can NOT be done, it would be very nice to know I can stop wasting my time looking for a solution.

Is that a ‘Yes’ ? Or are you just telling me to RTFM ?

That’s not what I want to do though!

I want to create a limited use link, like you can do from the wordpress menu, and send it out to another service. I am aware I can create these links manually, but can I create the links somehow via the API?

When I try and download from the website (formlock is included in my license) I am just guided to a page which wants me to purchase the addon separately.

I CAN’T DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION. IF I COULD, THIS WHOLE THING WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM.

That didn’t do anything! I have uninstalled and re-installed the plugin as well.

FYI I am using the Form Lock extension.

I have resolved this.
The post type displays in ACF Pro as ‘Packages’ rather than ‘wpdmpro’.

This last post does not help at all. There is nothing here that relates to modifying the templates for the form lock popup.

I assume what you are saying is that the form lock popup has not been designed with modification in mind and that unless you want to pay for customisations you are stuck with the default popup that is supplied. Which is a bit of a mess.

The modifications are not really minor. There is a lot I need to change to bring the popup ‘on brand’.

Surely this is possible? The addon isn’t really useful unless it looks good and can integrate with the extisting site. How is this modified?

No I want to change everything. The size the shape, the round image at the top, the position of the form. Everything.

I need to set up a staging environment to carry this out.

This plugin is causing a number of problems. I can also not customise the templates using the child theme.

I have been automatically charged Via paypal for a renewal but it is not showing up on my account. I CAN NOT USE IT.

I can not use it, I have been trying to get support for this for well over 2 days and this is the first next to useless response I have had. Please tell me what steps you are going to take to get my product into my dashboard so I can download.
