What I would like to do is have a drop down list of a specific category. I know how to show a list of a specific category with shortcodes no problem. What I would like to do is show the category with a dropdown list of the files contained in that category. Does that make sense?

I guess I’ll have to wait for the new functionality. Writing a new custom short code is a little beyond my technical abilities.

Is there any documentation in regard to how to do this?

Thank you, Thank you!! My bad, yes it is working on the front end. On the back end it just looks different it does’t show the link to the file like the manually uploaded ones it just shows the filename. I wrongly assumed that this was a problem.

Tried both in various combinations no matter what I try I just can’t get it to attach the file to the post. Everything else works.

I’m so close. I can get it to upload the CSV and create the downloads posts, but it won’t attach the files for download. I’ve attached a sample CSV of just one line. You will see the the link to the file works and opens (therefore file permissions should be OK). Any other ideas?

Just a thought… but could it because I have multiple category selections separated by commas? Could it be importing this as different columns?

I double checked the file, this is not the issue, I even tried removing any “blank” columns, same error. My CSV file is attached. I’ll attached my revised file as well. There are no issues that I can see of missing columns. I still get the exact same PHP error.

no it didn’t. I didn’t remove the temp user. But I see it’s gone???? I’ll re add the same username and password back. Let me know if you have issues.
