Like that?
<?php
add_filter('wdm_before_fetch_template','my_fetch_template',10,1);
function my_fetch_template($vars){
//your code here
$vars['Versicherer] = "Versicherer
$vars['Versicherer'] = callback_function();
return $vars;
}
?>
And than add this to template editor?
[Versicherer]
Is this working?
Any help?
ok, but how to set up the PHP Code?
Taxonomy Slug is for example: Versicherer
Post Type is: wpdmpro
Could you help me with that?
Thanks for that quick response.
But i think thats not working. I do not use the Categories of WPDM, i used Taxonomies assigned to the WPDM Post Type by CPT UI, because of my Search & Filter Plugin.
There is defenitly a way to integrate that into my page template “WPDM Page Template”, but i do not know, how to integrate these information.
The alternative Way, you´ve installed, could be a soultion.
There just needed two things to be done:
– if i do not have the permission to see or download a download, there automaticly pops up an …no permission.txt.
Please just stop that download, ore set the Text into the iframe area.
– hide the empty iframe area, if user has no permission
Maybe you just give me a short tutorial how to get the alternative pdf viewer installed. So i do not have to ask you once more, after maybe reinstalling the system.
Greats
So end result is, that the Peview only works, when the acces is set to “All Visitors”.
Otherwise, its not working. Thats pretty sad for me…
I only bought the Plugin because of the PDF Preview.
No solutions?
Hey, it worked because you used a download thats set to (Allow Acces = All visitors)
My Cusotmer created that download and forgot to set the Access Rules.
Please try the same link now!
Try it as visitor and administrator.
(login = see private Message)
All downloads and the Preview need to bet visible for administrator and Editors.
Visitors shouldn´t see the previe and should not be able to download the file.
Thanks for helping me out!
Hey Shaon,
Thanks for the response.
So i decided to reinstall Download Manager.
After reinstall the Google Preview works great!
So i try as visitor and ones more. nor preview for visitor.
Also good!
BUT NOW:
After log in again, the Preview shows :You don’t have permission to download this file.
And thats the point where the Preview stops working.
Is that helpfull?
Can you fix this? I think it has something to do with the chache.
Could you please give me one more respon. My Website is based on PDF Documents, so thats most important for me.
Greats.
Maybe it would be good for you to know, that the DOC Preview allready worked, because you sad the Preview is not working in my installation.
Wouldn´t it be easy to just reinstall the download manager?
If so, how can i clean the databse from old entrys?
If you think it will not help to reinstall, it would be nice to have those Changes at the alternativ viewer done by today.
Greats and thanks allot!
Hey Sharhriar,
If thats the only way, i can live with that. Strange is, that the Preview allready worked.
BUT you have to fix a few thinks,, that are not nice to work with in this “alternative” preview.
– if i do not have the permission to see ore download a download, there automaticly pops up an …no permission.txt.
Please just stop that download, ore set the Text into the iframe area.
– The alternative way is not working on mobile. Tested with android mobile on firefox and Opera. After open the Page, the download directly starts and there is no peview to see.
– could you hide the empty iframe area, if user has no permission to download?
Thanks
after switching to all visitors again now this appears ( see screenshot)
It means “no Preview”
But the Download below is still working…
Pretty strange to me
LINK: http://versicherungsbedingungen-online.de/download/test-4
ah ok, diffrent Problem.
And it only worked yesterday, because i had set the Download Acces Rules to All Visitors.
If i select only Administrator, problems comes again.
Going to open a new ticket. This has nothing to do with this ticket.
Greats
Hey,
I am also having problems with the doc preview.
Even if i create a Download as Admininstrator, the Preview shows:
“You don’t have permission to download this file”
File Acces in Settings and Download are set to: Administrator and Editor.
It worked yesterday…
Should i open a new ticket or could you also take look at my website?

Hey Thermann,
Hey thanks for that.
But i can´t set up that code. Tryed it, but thats not working.
I can only wait for an update, maybe you will advance your Plugin with CPT from CPT UI in the Frontend.
Ore you could send me the Code i need to insert? That would perfekt.
I will now use the Backend with User Permissions. I would love to use the Frontend, but i have no idea how to get the CPT in there.
By the way, CPT UI really works great in Backend.
greats
For example, these are the taxonomies i created via CPT UI.
This Plugin is recommended for my Search and Filter Plugin to have a better search on my website.
Is your ACF Plugin able to do this job and are these Fields Searchable ?
And most important question, are these fields available in the Frontend?
Looks like this Plugin is the one you are using for the frontend upload:
The discription says:
Custom Feilds
Frontend Post and Media Manager includes Custom Fields in same way it is in WordPress admin and has new short-code option to embed custom field value in post content.
I need a quick support for this, even if i have to buy a addon.
If i can set up the Code by my self, please give at least some kind of tutorial.
Hope you can help me.
Greats
NEWS?
Would be great if you could help me today.
FYI:
Fixed the URL Problem with Edit Profil, Logout and other Frontend Pages like that:
[wpdm_user_dashboard flaturl=0]
[wpdm_frontend flaturl=0]
No array Problems, everythings fine!
