And for some reason, I cannot add a logout button with a standard wordpress link: /wp-login.php?action=logout – is there a logout link that would work with this plugin?
I don’t want users to be able to access the wp-admin at all – even to update their user profile. I don’t think your solution is for that?
And we have a login button that is hidden once the user is logged in. I need a logout button that shows in place of the login for logged in users.
Hi, we ran into a problem with another plugin we were using and I’m hoping I can just remove that one and solely use this for the functionality needed. I’m not finding in the documentation a way to:
1. Limit user access to the backend dashboard when logged in
2. Add a logout button to the navigation that only shows when logged in
Are both of these things possible with this plugin? If so, how do we implement? We are using the Pro version.
Thanks for your help.
OK I’ll try that next week.
Is there a class to hide the login link in the menu when a user is logged in? I had it set with another plugin to replace with a logout button. Is that not possible with this one?
Thanks, that seems to be working. Where did you add the CSS?
And where is the logo URL set? I’m not seeing any options on the settings. This is what I’m seeing in the code so must be set somewhere:
img src=”logo-url” alt=”Logo”
Also, is there a class to hide the login link in the menu when a user is logged in? I had it set with another plugin to replace with a logout button. Is that not possible with this one?
Thanks for your help.
Hi there…just following up on this to see if you’ve been able to take a look yet.
Thanks!
Hi again, I think we are misunderstanding each other. I’m not talking about the default wordpress search. I’m talking about the default download manager search and if that only searches through the titles of the packages and not the tags.
Thank you for your response. If you could please clarify that the default search will NOT search tags and only the titles of packages? Thanks!
We are not using a shortcode – these are the dynamic category pages that the plugin creates. I’m using a custom template for the results but that shouldn’t alter the way the search works.
And yes, the expectation is that the tag keywords are also being searched. Is that possible without using a shortcode?
Looks like the update fixed the issue. Thanks so much!
Can you please provide a release date for the next update? We are planning to go live with our website soon and can’t do so until this issue has been resolved.
Thanks
Great, thank you!
I see that there was an update that partially fixed this. However, when I add more than one widget to the sidebar to show different categories, I get a fatal error.
Excellent, thanks! It appears to be working much better now. I appreciate the help.
As a side question – will these plugins show available updates in the wp-admin? This one didn’t but I’m guessing it’s because it hadn’t gone through the release process yet. I had to delete/re-upload this time.
Thanks
