But that is a different page from de root category’s page. So, if users click on root category link they will see an “empty” page. Is it not possible to populate that category page properly?

Hi Tahasin
I have purchased the WPDM Directory plugin, as it looks great and although it is not what I had in mind (neither in features nor in price) I must admin the page will look much better.

But now I still don’t know how to apply that code to my root category. Should I create a new link template and add the code?

Is there no way to achieve what I need with just download manager pro? It increases 50% my plugin budget just for a feature that I think it is a must have in the license I have already bought.

What I was looking for was just a category tree, with no files. Just to click in a category link and that would take you to that category file list, but these options would work fine as well, and they have more features than requested.

I prefer option #1. How do I link such a template to my root category page?
