The error comes up on: Site Health Status

a. The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.

The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

b. Loopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.

The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

Hi Shahriar

Thank you for coming back to me but I am afraid that this is still not working. We are clearly making some progress as the files are now visible at the front end however:

a. the file uploader is still not working from the file manager – front end
b. I am unable to download/view files from the front end

additionally the pdf viewer is not working which I presume may be linked to the same issue?

I appreciate that you guys are really busy but I really must make progress here now so if you could get back to me asap it would be appreciated.

kind regards

Paul

Hi

This is the response from Theme Support – this is becoming extremely frustrating now as we do not appear to have moved forward at all ๐Ÿ™

Hi,
I would like to apologize for the late response.
The theme is not removing any of the WPDM script, at least not intentionally, but it’s possible that one of its dependencies is being conditionally loaded by the theme. Please ask the plugin author if the script has any dependencies and if it does, ask for the names or script handles.

Best regards,
Ismael

Guys

It’s been nearly three weeks – is there any chance of getting this sorted?

Hi

Directory permissions all appear ok? however I was unable to unzip the latest WPMD downoad package – Error 0x80010135: Path to long, using standard Win 10 extract, fine with WinZip however.

Anyway I’ve uploaded the latest package which is now operational so if you could take a look it would be appreciated – the same issues still persist.

Many thanks

Paul

Additionally under the ‘settings’ (tab/entry) all I see is a save settings button?

would appreciate any help you can provide.

in reply to: Issue with frontend uploader #91581

I’m having a very similar issue here the ‘front end’ Dashboard comes up fine, all items and add new all appear ok but under the ‘file manager’ (tab/entry) all I see is the top bar containing:

space used (reads empty), new folder, upload file buttons etc

‘no files’ are shown as in the image detailing the plugin? Is that correct or do I need to adjust settings/add shortcode somewhere?

As suggested disabling both the bootstrap jS & CSS settings has restored functionality to ‘new folder/upload’ file buttons (although not sure if that has had impact elsewhere yet?).
