Hello Nayeem Riddhi.
It seems not the best practice and option in general to change one of the Plugin Core files.
The option with the hook was better.

How should I track and manage the changes from the plugin updates for this file?
I mean, what if this file will be changed in the future plugin updates? I will either lose my changes or should track if the file was changed during each plugin update and then try to implement my changes there whenever this file is updated.

I’m a bit confused, could you ask/recommend to the dev team to return that filter/hook functionality?
Looking forward to your feedback.

Thanks

Hello Nayeem Riddhi.
Nice to meet you ๐Ÿ™‚

I need to limit the amount of files that are displayed on the Single Package Template.
Here is the example of the page – https://oscargalaxydev.wpenginepowered.com/download/standard-out-patient-bone-densitometry-bmd-requisition/

I need to leave only the latest file (in terms of uploading time), others should be removed.
Here is the screenshot with the outlined file item that I need to have – https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/48156745?key=5d0caba3c6dde77d2a891f8bb7693022.

I know that I can try to hide the unnecessary items with CSS, but it is not the best option in terms of SEO and Page Structure.
Thus, I was trying to implement it using the filter that I mentioned before, but it seems that it doesn’t work.

Looking forward to your feedback.
Thanks

I see that plugin allows you to set default values for newly created packages,
but is there any way to force change all the EXISTING packages to the default page template?

I sent you a private message with info on our site.
It has been a week, with no reply…

If we cannot fix the problem, we will need to find another solution.
A minute to load the list of 621 documents is much too long…

in reply to: attaching html and js files #66273

The site is a resource for programmers. Only a very few people will be uploading code. The HTML code is for Webforms and the JS scripts are for GreaseMonkey browser scripts.

As some point it worked. I upgraded the free version to “Pro” in order to use the other features, like multiple-file uploads.

I don’t want to ‘pack’ the files into .zips because this adds an additional step for all the people downloading the code.
I can upload the files using ftp without a problem. My hosting company does not restrict that. When I link the uploaded files and try to download, I get: Invalid File Type (.js)!

I fully understand the security risks and want this capability to work.
I can give you my email privately, if you don’t want to make the solution public.

Are you going to help me fix this problem?
