I set the PHP memory limit to 1G. I then signed up again – going through the whole process as if I was a new customer. When I went to download the file (DS-719-1 under Software), it said to subscribe but I was already logged in. I logged out and logged in, same – button says must subscribe. Before it was access denied and now it continues to say subscribe to download. I am unable to download anything with the free plan set in the access.
I am getting a different PHP error now – see below. Please fix. BTW, I reviewed the PHP error log and the memory error that was listed was AFTER I went in there to do my testing on 10/29. Now after you were in there on 10/30, there is a memory error. Either way, I changed it to 1G and there should be no reason this isn’t working.
Also, the subscribed or sign up dates are all set for today which isn’t true. Some of these were from awhile ago. Why are the dates being changed to today’s date? I have done nothing to these sign ups so this date should not change from day to day. I see that someone else in the forum is having issues with this.
I don’t understand why this can’t get working and we are MONTHS into purchasing this!!! I even changed hosting companies to be able to control the memory limit so there shouldn’t be any other issues but there is.
My PHP error log says this now:
[03-Nov-2020 21:09:47 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wpdmpp_price_format() in /home/creeksi4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wppromembership/src/Account/user-account.php:40

This is working great thus far! Thank you! Just two more items I’m wondering can happen.
You sign up for the free plan and click submit. It registers you but then you have to submit it again. Is it possible to just register and hit the submit once then go to the dashboard? To me it was a little confusing having to click the submit button twice.
Also, is it possible to get email verification first when they register like you can do on the download plugin?
I see that more work has been done – thank you! As far as the signing up, after you sign up, you don’t get redirected to the dashboard page. Can this be fixed?
One more thing I noticed is that when I went back to the /downloads page, the access denied was still there after I logged in. So the membership is not allowing me to download that.
I was able to review this but it’s still not working correctly – unless this isn’t how this is supposed to work… When I add the free plan to the role/access to one of the documents, for instance DM-220-1, it shows “you must login to view” where the download button is supposed to be. When I click on that, it goes to the login page. Then there is a register now I can click on but that goes to the registration. If the role/access is set to the free plan – I need it to go to the membership plans page to sign up there or they can login from there as well. Isn’t this how this is supposed to work? If it were any other role/access then it should go to the login page as normal or if it is public, then anyone can access it.
Please let me know if they can be redirected to the membership plans page first.
I’ve been on vacation and just saw that you uploaded the membership plugin. However, it’s not working. Did you all test it? I see that a free plan was added. I selected that plan in one of the download files. When I go to view it as if I’m a customer, it says that I must login to view the download. I click on it and it takes me to the login page and then if I click on register for a new account, it just takes me to that. It doesn’t take me to the membership plan page at all. I have that page selected under “membership account page” in the settings. If that’s where I’m supposed to select that page at.
Also, the FREE version of the downloads is not working as it will give me a critical error when trying to download anything with public access. However, when I disable the membership plugin, it works fine. Therefore, there’s still issues with the membership plugin.
One more thing, in the dashboard on the left side bar, you have Membership spelled wrong.
I don’t have the pro version. The only pro version we have is the membership one. This is on the free version and it looks like it’s the same version for the free. As much trouble has we’ve had with this plugin and the membership one – which is STILL NOT WORKING correctly, can we get the pro version uploaded to my account so at least the it will work without the membership so my clients can get the downloads?
Can someone please get back with me? I can’t even have the the download manager even active on the site as it gives this fatal error!
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WPDM\libs\Apply’ not found in /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php:132 Stack trace: #0 /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php(102): WPDM\WordPressDownloadManager->__construct() #1 /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php(493): WPDM\WordPressDownloadManager::instance() #2 /wordpress/core/5.4.2/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(2255): include(‘/srv/htdocs/wp-…’) #3 /wordpress/core/5.4.2/wp-admin/plugins.php(177): plugin_sandbox_scrape(‘download-manage…’) #4 {main} thrown in /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php on line 132
I’m not sure if you are all in there working or not because the site was down and had a critical error so they had to deactivate the download plugin. The error logs were these below. Just so you know, I’m trying to find a different solution with regards the membership portion as my client is getting frustrated that this is not working. I’m hoping you can fix the error but again, you might see a different membership plugin installed. I’ve been working through a different solution so we can continue with the membership that he needs on his site. It’s been 2 months since this has had issues and he needs a viable working site!!! Now it seems that the download plugin caused this error versus the membership.

These are the same errors that I was getting before. Also, I cannot go lower than 7.2 in PHP so your system doesn’t run on anything higher?
also are you testing directly from logging into the site itself?
Because it’s on wordpress.com, I can only go down to 7.2 in which I did. I did a test trying to download the document 220-1 being logged in as a free plan member and when I try to download, I get the critical error again. This is still not working!
It’s been another 4 days. Can someone please get back to this?
This is getting ridiculous!!! Can someone please look into this?????? It’s been two weeks since we’ve had issues!!
It’s been another 4 days! Can someone please look into this? My client is ready to bail on this plugin and get something else.
Can someone please take a look at this again?
No one has bothered to answer any other questions that I have and I still get critical errors when trying to download anything after I updated the membership plugin to version 2.6.5.
These are the errors I get after updating:
