What are the required permissions for the appropriate directories? I’m able to update this myself if I know the ones to look for.

We are actually up to date at 4.0.7 and still not able to delete permanently.

Thanks, allowing them to upload files did the trick. I have also given them permission to delete posts, but this does not seem to be working. The package disappears initially, but if i go back to “All Packages” it is still there. Any advise on this?

Okay, so I have done some more testing on this. If I am logged in as site administrator, I get this message when uploading from the front end. If I am logged in as a different Role, the package is created, but the file is never uploaded. It is a zero kb document, that when downloaded is called download-manager-files.txt. I am also not able to delete the package. I will follow up with admin access.

We are having the same problem as the folks on this thread. Is there a trick we should know about for getting the “Downloads” menu to show up in the admin menu?
