Filter for membership in multiple categories

Is there any way for the shortcode to filter for media that belong only to two categories? I need to be able to display a list of files that have both category1 and category2, not files that have only one or the other. Is this possible? I tried id=”category1+category2″ but that did not work. Thanks!
