Hi,
I’m having trouble creating a package using a remote URL.
I’ve tried using a link to a pdf on a remote website and also
using the link to a pdf I’ve uploaded to my site using Media uploader. (i’ve tried with a couple of files)

How do I resolve this please?

#1. if package has multiple files where each or some files are too large ( like GB ) and if you server memory is lower then total file size added with package, package download may fail as it tries to zip all files on the fly before download and shows Fatal error: Out of memory , in that case you need to use individual file download option.
#2. same reason as aboveHi I’ve upgraded to Pro this morning after deleting the Free version. Pro plugin activates, but nothing appears in the Dashboard except the following error:

I just purchased the WP Download 4.1.3 and it works when I have multiple small (e.g. less than a megabyte) files. When I try to use it with multiple large files (some of the file sizes approaching a Gigabyte with a total package size of 1.4 Gbytes), it won’t successfully download the package:
1) I get “Fatal error: Out of memory” messages or
2) The one time it did download a zip file, it took a long time (thought nothing was happening, but apparently it was) and, in the end, it was an empty folder.Unless I am missing something, it’s looking like the plug-in won’t be a good alternative to FTP, unfortunately.

We upgraded tot he pro version and I am getting the following error on everything:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_enqueue_media() in /home/kenwayco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/functions.php on line 3855
Did also removed the 4.1.2 version and put 4.1.3 on hoping to help but I get the same problem.Thanks!

When trying to import entries from Download Monitor 3.3.6.1 into Download Manager 4.1. The import process freezes and the following errors are appearing in the Apache error log:

We were getting a message that trial period expired on Download Manager and needed to purchase a license key. I purchase download Manager Pro for the $45 and followed the steps in the posting “upgrading from “free” to “pro” and have completely crashed my website. After activating the plugin 4.0.7 I click on Settings or any of the options under download and get a FATAL ERROR message. I restored back my download manager 2.6 Free version because we could at least download existing items BEFORE but now I get multiple DOWNLOAD links and none of them work. So basically I have completely screwed up my website and need some help ASAP

the error says file is not uploaded successfully, give me ftp info to plugins dir and wp-admin login info, I’ll do that for you.
