I am working currently with the WP Download Manager free version.
For a new client I need a special function for the management of a lot of download files.
Therefore I contact you today to ask if it is possible that you could implement the new function in your new update?
I have the following scenario.
A company, my customer, has round about 200 products in his assortment.
For each of this products he has a lot of different files (PDF, Zip, JPG) (10 Files for each product, in sum 2000 Files) which the customers of my client should be download.
Your plugin is an very good tool to manage the files,
but the function which i need is not implement yet.
I need the following function.
– I must be able to create packages for each product (1. product, 2. product … 200. product),
this is possible in the current pro version, which I saw on your demo site.
– After them I must be able to upload all the different files and create a connection
between the file and the 200 different packages.
This is the missing point in your plugin to use it in my current project.
For Example:
On the product page of the 150. Product i would like to implement the id number of the package for this product.
The plugin should now display all the files which connected with this package in one list.
Each file in this package must now be downloadable seperatly from the website user (customer).
Your plugin support already
– create packages
– upload individual Files, but not in the pro Version
– create different categories
The missing point in my case is the reference connection between the package and the individual file,
without implement the file directly in the package option.
I am sure that with this feature you would safe a lot of user some stupid work.
Please let me know if you can implement the missing opition in your plugin.
