Hi,

I set up Google Drive integration, but all I get when trying to attach a file from Google Drive is an error message “The API developer key is invalid.”. I enabled both Google Drive and Picker API, generated an API key and set it up in the settings of the plugin. But attaching a file still doesn’t work. What have I done wrong?

Best regards,
Holger

Loos like you forgot to follow step 3
3. Enable the Google Drive API – follow the link to enable a new API. You might need to first follow the “APIs and Auth” link under the “APIs” menu to find the right button and Find ‘Drive API’ and ‘Google Picker API’ on the list of services, Click “Off” button on the right to “On” it

You need to enable ‘Drive API’ and ‘Google Picker API’

Thank you.

Jass, the API’s are enabled (see attached screenshot), so this can’t be the problem.

Actually, I Had replaced with my generated API, it was working perfectly. If you can provide your Gmail credentials i can help you to generate the APIs.

Hi Jass, sorry, looks like there is another problem. I could upload the files from Google Drive to WPDM without problem. But when people tried to download from our website they got an 403 error (no permission) from Google Drive. Any idea what might be the problem?

Best regards,
Holger

I can’t download from your test page as well. All I get is this:

403. That’s an error.

We’re sorry, but you do not have access to this page. That’s all we know.

How can I change the file permissions in Google Drive? There seems to be no way to change them (i.e. by right-clicking the file).

I found some settings, changed them and now it seems to work. Will test on various computers. If I don’t get back, than the issue is resolved. Thanks for your help, very much appreciated.
