Change Upload Directory

Hi guys,

I purchased WPDM Pro and its great so far!

I needed a plugin that creates thumbnails of uploaded PDFs for me to use as the Featured Image. I found something suitable, but it doesn’t recognise WPDM uploads because they are in a subdirectory of uploads/download-manager-files.

I have contacted the plugin creator to see if he could update his plugin to allow searching subdirectories, but I thought I would also ask you.

Can I change the default upload directory in WPDM easily? If I can have all uploads go to the root /upload directory, then the PDF thumbnail plugin will create an image I can use for the product’s Featured Image.

I’d like to define the upload dir, too.

Expected to find that option under settings > basic > upload-settings, but sadly, there’s only ‘sanitize filename’ and ‘when file already exists: overwrite|rename’.
