When adding a new file to Download Manager 2.6.91, I named the file, uploaded the file via drag and drop AND ‘select file options, and then created the pkg. All signals were positive, ie, the file uploaded and I received message that the pkg was created. However, when I use the shortcode in my page I get a ‘file not found message.

Does anyone have an idea about what might be going on? I’ve deleted and re-done the file three times to the same result.

Thanks for any help or hints
Bill

I have found in last week the file manager won’t allow any downloads if you have set a password. Works fine if no password so somehow not recognising when we type in correct password. Not sure if related to shortcode issue but try switching off the password and see if it solves your problem.

Thanks for your response Barry. I haven’t set a password for this or any of the other files. The older ones are downloading but the new one doesn’t. As a matter of fact, while Download Manager tells me all is well, I can’t seem to find the file it says it successfully uploaded! I’ve checked permissions on the folders it says it uploads to and they are fine.
Thanks again
